I’m back to tell you the romantic story of Jacqueline and Florian’s Jewish wedding in Italy.
It was really a great experience working with and for them and their family.

Jacqueline and Florian’s Jewish wedding in Italy was a wonderful event. They wanted a country chic wedding in Piemonte. So we opted for wonderful hills of Monferrato and amazing Relais Sant’Uffizio. The property was just idea to host the whole group together.
For their ceremony we opted for a wide garden overlooking the vineyards hills where we placed the Jewish huppa for the Ceremony.

After that, we served a very traditional Piedmont style rich aperitif with local food and amazing Piemonte red and white wines. The best part of the aperitif was a suprise Jacqueline planned for Florian and all guests: Official Team of Asti flags throwers performed in the courtyard with an amazing show! Everybody loved it.
Their dinner was served under a wisteria pergola outdoor where bride and groom and their guests enjoyed traditional dishes of Italian cuisine. The climax was the delicious and traditional hazelnuts wedding cake that bride and groom cut in the maze of the venue and dances to follow.
What a fantastic day in Piemonte Countryside!

OUR BRIDE AND GROOM’S HAPPINESS IS THE BEST REWARD FOR US!

Planning my wedding in Italy from New York City

From what I’ve heard countless times over, wedding planning can be one of the biggest, most stressful and difficult events. Planning from a completely different continent only adds to the chaos. However, planning my wedding in Italy from New York City was quite possibly one of the most thrilling, fun, and simple projects I’ve ever been tasked with. And as a marketing/communications professional, I think that’s saying something!

Let it be known to American brides (especially those from larger cities) that planning a wedding in Europe is very different than planning a wedding in the states. People do operate at a slower pace and success truly comes in both understanding the local culture and embracing it.

With these few things in mind, we were able to successfully execute in every way we anticipated and bring a local cultural flair to the festivities, which our out-of-town guests loved.

Researching wedding planners in the Piedmont area

Firstly, my Mother and I spent a great deal of time researching wedding planners in the Piedmont area for my Jewish wedding in Italy. Therefore, inevitably whittled the list down to around 4 planners, all of whom we interviewed via Skype. It was clear from the first few minutes of chatting that Valentina and Ernesto had the resources, language skills, and flexible thinking /creativity that we were looking for. To say we were lucky to have found them is an understatement.
From the countless phone calls, emails, and skype sessions, Valentina and Ernesto orchestrated a flawless wedding that our guests are still raving over. We had zero issues during the day. Even when it was about to rain, the skies parted and we never felt a drop. Safe to assume that Valentina and Ernesto have the weather gods on their side!

Thrilled that we trusted our intuition and let Valentina and Ernesto guide us through the process. We will forever be indebted to them and the other fabulous vendors in their repertoire.

A great wedding planning experience

As the matter of fact after our wedding planning experience we are keeping on having a great friendship that I’m sure will last a lifetime.

Jacqueline and Florian came all over from NYC to plan their fabulous Jewish wedding in Italy. Jacqueline is American and Florian is German and the sweet country chic wedding we planned for them in Piemonte countryside was a perfect blend of two cultures. Above all, a memory I will keep in my heart forever.
